About Us

South Cape Expeditions is a tour operator service, where our guests come first. We strive to establish our guests' needs and desires, and to find the right activities for them to enhance their visit to South Africa.
As a tour operator service we are very fortunate to be based in one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa. Our base of operation is located in the city of George in the Western Cape, and George could be considered to be the heart of the beautiful Garden Route. George is located half way between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth which allows us to cover the Garden Route and Klein Karoo and find all the hidden little gems that other tour operators might race past.
We cater for small groups or couples who are looking for that personal touch and flexibility to their vacation. We firmly believe that your vacation should belong to you, and that our guests should have a say in making unscheduled stops for photo opportunities along the way.
We can offer a variety of services, including multi day tours, day excursions, and tour guide services as well as assisting with the planning of tours for independent travelers.

About the owner

I started my career in the tourism industry more than 20 years ago by turning my passion for SCUBA diving into my career. Taking people to experience the underwater beauty always brought me great joy. Being a SCUBA Instructor allowed me to spread my wings and to go and see what is beyond the horizon.

In 2003 I started to work for a well-known cruise company both on their line of cruise ships, as well as their private destinations. Through my years in the cruise industry I moved across more into their Shore Excursions department, and I always enjoyed assisting guests in planning their vacations and what it is they wanted to experience in the ports of call. I also helped them with creating custom and private tours.

In 2017 I returned to South Africa, and decided that it was time to set down roots in my own beautiful country. Now I use my knowledge and expertise to help plan tours for independent travelers, and to show guests South Africa, the wonderful country I call home.
